Starting a vocabulary unit today. This project will show complete understanding of 24 vocabulary terms commonly used this school year. Project completion by next Thursday November 9th. Good Luck!!

Mar 31st renewable resources flipchart

A review of the 5 renewable resources in a flip chart format due April 10, 2017 The 5 words are Solar, hydro, wind, geothermal and biomass. Project should include advantages and disadvantages for each. How people can use these resources, and a diagram for each.

Nov 11th chapter 4 test next week November 15

review all packets related to Galaxies, H-R diagram, star magnitudes and star light spectrum. all related vocabulary such as, but not exclusive to; spectrum, apparent  magnitude, absolute magnitude, light-year, parallax, H-R diagram, main sequence, neutron star, pulsar, black hole, galaxy, spiral galaxy, elliptical galaxy, irregular galaxy, nebula, open cluster, globular cluster, quasar, big bang theory, cosmic radiation..

Nov 6th Wayne County Regional Enhancement Education Millage Proposal

School districts in Wayne County have placed a proposal on the November 8^th ballot to provide added funding for our schools. It is the “Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal.”

If approved by the entire county, the 2 mil proposal will generate approximately $6.2 million from Dearborn but the District will receive $7.8 million in additional funding for our schools.  Money would go to local schools starting this year and the millage expires after six years.  (more…)

Nov 3rd prepare for a November chapter test

Chapter 4 “Astronomy” test is right around the corner. We are currently finishing up a project of ” The H-R Diagram” section 2. Section 3 will begin Monday November 7th. plan on a test Monday November 14th covering chapter 4. Save all annotated packets for your review. Focus on Vocabulary Terms for this chapter. Good luck.
