1st to 3rd hours:

Bellwork reviewed SAT/PSAT math problems in preparation for testing next month.

Hwk #12 is due today.

The remainder of the period we continued discussing real-world problems involving angles of elevation and depression and right triangle trigonometry, i.e., story problems (Sec 14-3).

Hwk #13 was made available to the students.

4th & 6th hours:

Bellwork reviewed using Sin, Cos, and Tan to find missing parts of right triangles.

The remainder of the period we discussed what it means to “solve a triangle” and practiced these types of problems (Sec 14-3).  We also began our discussion on real-world problems involving right triangle trigonometry (Sec 14-3).
