1st, 2nd, 3rd Hours:

Bellwork gave students practice on SAT-type math questions for practice on the PSAT10 and SAT being given in the Spring.

The classwork sheet from yesterday is due today.

The remainder of the period we discussed Sec 3-1, Systems of Linear Equations.  Students learned to find the number of solutions to a system of linear equations without actually solving the system.

4th & 5th Hours:

Bellwork reviewed solving an equation for one of its variables and solving Absolute Value Equations.

Students were given the review for the Chapter 1 (and Sec 2-5) Test.

The remainder of the period we continued discussing Sec 1-5 by going over ways to solve Absolute Value Inequalities.

Hwk #8 is due on Thursday.     Sec 1-5
