Bellwork reviewed factoring and solving skills.

The remainder of the period we finished discussing Topic 5.  We discussed how to find x-intercepts by methods other than graphing, such as factoring and solving.  We also discussed how to create the equations of polynomials given the number of distinct real zeros (x-intercepts).

Hwk #26 is due tomorrow:

Agilemind Workbook, Topic 5 Analyzing Polynomial Functions, SAS 4 problems 4 a-d, 5 a-e, and 6.

Students also were given review for Thursday’s Topic 5 Test.
