Bellwork gave students practice sketching a polynomial using intervals of increasing/decreasing, information about extremes, and information about intercepts.

The remainder of the period we discussed Topic 4 – Introduction to Polynomials; Exploring “Deepening your understanding of quadratics and cubics”.  We discussed the ideas of Odd and Even Functions and Average Rate of Change of a polynomial.

Hwk #20 is due tomorrow and has two parts:

1. Agilemind website – Topic 4 – Introduction to Polynomials.  More Practice #’s 11-15

2. Agilemind Workbook- Topic 4 – Introduction to Polynomials.  SAS4 – questions 17, 18
