1st, 2nd, 3rd Hours:

Bellwork gave students practice determining the end behavior of polynomial functions.

Hwk #25 is due today.

The remainder of the period students learned what the shape of single zeros, double zeros, and triple zeros are by doing the Shaptes of Zeros Exploration using the graphing calculator.  They were then able to use the end behavior together with the shapes of the zeros to sketch the graph of polynomial functions.

4 & 5th Hours:

Bellwork gave students practice with a problem about Linear Programming (Sec 3-4).

Hwk #19 is due today.

The remainder of the period students learned how graph inequalities and systems of inequalities on the graphing calculators.  Students also practiced solving another problem using Linear Programming (Sec 3-4).
