1st, 2nd, 3rd Hours:

Bellwork gave students practice with real-world problems involving Quadratic Equations.

The remainder of the period we continued discussing Sec 5-8, Quadratic Formula.

Hwk #20 is due on Thursday.    Sec 5-8

4th & 5th Hours:

Bellwork reviewed solving systems of linear equations and finding the number of solutions without actually solving the system.

The remainder of the period we continued discussing Sec 3-2, Solving Systems of Linear Equations using the algebraic techniques of Substitution and Elimination.

Hwk #16 is due on Thursday.  Sec 3-2

Page 128.     Problems 14, 17, 35, 54-58 (students must solve the systems of equations in problems 54-58 too).
