Bellwork had students make a scatter plot of some data, draw a trend line, write the equation of their trend line, and answer some questions using the graph and/or equation (sec 6-6)
The remainder of the period we continued discussing Sec 6-6 by using technology to make a scatter plot and find the equation of the trend line: Graphing Calculator, Microsoft Excel, and an applet from the internet. We also discussed how to find the Correlation Coefficient (r) and what information it provides.
Hwk #1 is due on Thursday. Sec 6-6
