Bellwork reviewed writing a system of equations involving either air speed or speed of a river’s current, then solving the system (Sec 7-4).

The remainder of the period we finished discussing Sec 7-4 by working on percent mixture problems.

Correction to problem #2 from Hwk #1:  The given times were reversed.  1.8 hours should be for the upstream trip and 0.9 hours should be for the downstream trip.
