Make sure it’s set on Rad or Deg correctly when dealing with the trig functions. No bellwork today, students took the test over Chapter 10.

Final exams next week.

Students can bring a sheet of hand written notes to final exam.

The paper must be 8 1/2″ x 11″ and can be written on both sides.

Bellwork reviewed solving Quadratic Equations using Square Roots, Factoring, and Quadratic Formula.

Students were given the Final Exam Review for Chapter 7.

The remainder of the period we discussed using the Pythagorean Theorem to find missing sides in a right triangle.  We then began discussing another tool that is used to find missing sides of a right triangle:  Trigonometry.
