4th & 5th hours:

Bellwork reviewed graphing an equation by using a table of values.  Students should be able to anticipate what the graph should look like by what they see in the equation.

Hwk #18 is due today.

The remainder of the period we continued discussing Sec 5-2.  The topic of Domain and Range was introduce and the concept of a Function was begun.

6th hour:

Bellwork gave students practice on a real-life problem that an be modeled with a pair of equations then an answer can be arrived at using substitution.

The remainder of the period we finished our discussion on Sec 3-5, Compound Inequalities.

Hwk #16 is due tomorrow.  Sec 3-5

Pages 163-165

Problems 2, 3, 7, 12, 20, 21, 36-39, 51, 52

Students received the Review for Chapter 3.  The test over Chapter 3 will be some day next week.  The exact day will be announced as soon as it is determined.
