4th & 5th Hours:

Bellwork reviewed graphs that model real-life.

Classwork from yesterday is due today.

The remainder of the period we reviewed the classwork that was due today and discussed what the graphs of equations involving Absolute Value and x^2 (Quadratic Functions) should look like.  We then finished our discussion on Sec 5-1.

Hwk #18 is due on Monday

Bellwork reviewed solving inequalities.

Hwk #15 is due today.

After going over the bellwork and homework students took a short quiz over solving inequalities.

The remainder of the period we discussed solving a story problem and began our discussion on Sec 3-5, Compound Inequalities.
