The following are various Enrichment & Science online activities students may complete at home.
Mystery Science
Mystery Science, a lesson planning tool that our teachers use, has created a free website with science lessons our students can complete at home. The link to these lessons is: Mystery Science Home The lessons are divided by grade level and subject.
Students, when you go to the Mystery Science Home website, you will notice that the lessons are separated into grade levels. You will pick your grade level and pick one of the activities you are interested in. Complete the activity and then email me a short message of what your learned. Please complete each activity for your grade level.
When you finish all of the activities in your grade level, you may complete the activities in the other grade levels. Pick the ones that have the most interest to you.
Sending Emails
During the 1st marking period, we learned about our emails accounts and how to use them. We also created and updated our signature. For Technology Enrichment practice, I would like each one of you students to send me an email.
The first step is to login to your Dearborn Public Schools account. (If you are reading this post, you are most likely logged in.)
Next, navigate to your Google Email account. This will be listed as "Gmail".
Then, pick the "Compose" icon in the upper left hand corner.
After that, type in "Tront" in the "To" box and pick my name. Also, in the "Subject" box, give your email a title.
Now, in the area were you write your message, the same box that may have your signature, write me a few sentences about what your have been doing during this last week at home.
You may attached a photo by using the "Paperclip" icon at the bottom of the email. This is optional.
Finally, pick the "Send" icon. This will send a copy of your email to me.
I look forward to reading your emails and to learn what you have been doing this past week.
You may send me more then one email if you would like to. One a day, one a week, etc.
