Can you see me??

Bacteria, Protista, and Fungi and all tiny organisms that make a big impact on our world.  All bacteria are only seen under a microscope, but as we learned in class can be helpful and harmful to our bodies.  We have investigated the 3 types of protist and how they move.  Next week we will discover the world of fungus and prepare for an assessment on Friday.  Look for some homework on Monday, November 5 to keep everyone busy on our day off, Tuesday, November 6.

Classification continues

Students are doing a great job learning how to classify living organisms.  We have done several labs and activities in class working with sorting and groups objects and being “scientist” by coming up with the names of Kingdoms and Phylum names.

Living vs Nonliving

Just because we started a new unit on Living vs Nonliving organisms this week, doesn’t mean scientific method is going away.  We will be revisiting scientific method every time we do an experiment or investigation in class.  Field trip money was due.  If anyone would still like to go, I can still accept money up to next week.
