Renaissance was a wonderful time in history. Tons of art, literature, and innovation was happening. Take a moment to talk with your students about how the invention of the printing press help to spread education across Europe.
The Renaissance
Renaissance Projects are due today. Students have been working hard in class to prepare. I can’t wait to see their learning.
Welcome Back
We are continuing our studies of ecosystems by investigating food chains and food webs. All students have homework due Thursday, April 11.
The dark days of the middle ages
We are still making our way through the middle ages. These are some dark days for these dark ages. We are having great discussions about how hard life was as a peasant, as well as in the castles. Life was tough back then, we appreciate our modern times.
What is a coat of arms?
The royals of the middle ages had a coat of arms, and now all the students do. Ask them about them.
The Middle Ages
Try to stay warm during these cold, snowy days. Since we only had 2 1/2 days last week and not sure how many this week, it’s been hard to get the middle ages started. We will start our reading with Vikings this week and some vocabulary to build some background knowledge.
Ready for semester 2???
Please have an empty 3 ring binder for class. We are starting in the Middle Ages.
See you on Wednesday!
