Use a pen or a fine marker to label locations.

Use arrows in tight spots. 

Add a compass in the right corner, include North, South, East and West.

Label the following bodies of water: 

1. Atlantic Ocean
2. Pacific Ocean
3. Indian Ocean
4. Arctic Ocean
5. Mediterranean Sea – fill in with blue colored pencil
6. Caribbean Sea
7. Red Sea – fill in with blue colored pencil
8. North Sea
9. Black Sea – fill in with blue colored pencil

Label the following continents:

1. North America
2. South America
3. Africa
4. Asia
5. Europe
6. Australia
7. Antarctica

Label the following countries. Color them with colored pencil. DO NOT USE MARKER.

1. India
2. Saudi Arabia
3. Nepal
4. Palestine
5. Israel

We will be adding countries to this map as we encounter them!

Is everything labelled?

Is everything spelled correctly?

Are the countries colored?

Is everything neat?

Create a timeline on printer or construction paper that includes a minimum of eight times your life truly changed. You can include things that happened to you already or things you hope happen in the future. This is due Thursday. Please use pictures or illustrations to make it pretty! I want to put these up on my walls for Open House.

Extra Credit Opportunity!

Using the characters from the Ted Talk, rational decision maker, instant gratification monkey, and panic monster, create your own piece about procrastination. You can create a slideshow, a story board, write a story, or make a video. You can use technology or draw/paint/collage your own piece. This is due Tuesday September 3rd, along with your signed syllabus page.
