Contest Question!

Yesterday and today we learned about the characteristics that make up a community.  There are 7 different characteristics.

Question:   Name at least 4 different characteristics that make up a community and give 3 examples for each.

Example:   Places to have fun-park, beach, and a movie theater

You can not use the one that I just did:)

In order to get a prize, you must bring the answer to school on Thursday, January 8.

Good luck!

Raz-Kids Contest Results!

Congratulations to Rewa, Jawad, and Eva for reading, listening, and taking the most quizzes on Raz-Kids!  I love how you are reading at home using this valuable program.  Keep up the great work!

The new contest started yesterday.  Everyone has a chance to win lunch with Mrs. Picardal.  Remember, the winners will be the 3 students who read, listen, or take the most quizzes.  The more you read the better reader you will become!  Good luck everyone and happy reading:)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you enjoy the time off with your family and friends.  I wanted to let everyone know that I am very thankful for the opportunity to teach your child.  All of you have wonderful children who put a smile on my face each and every day.  I am so thankful that I get to wake up every morning and come to a job that I love!

Wishing all of my wonderful families a very Happy Thanksgiving!
