The third grade’s focus was on contractions.  The words are: he’s, I’m, aren’t, couldn’t won’t, o’clock, wouldn’t, weren’t, she’s, wasn’t, I’d, and shouldn’t.  The focus for second grade were the endings ed and ing.  The words are: liked, baked, chased, closed, named, hoping, using, making, hiding, riding, playing, and walked.  The test is Friday, May 21.
