This week we will be continuing to learn about legends and their elements.  We will also compare/contrast some of the legends we have enjoyed.  We are also learning about the culture and belief of Native Americans through legends.

Also, in Social Studies we will be  learning about the fur trade and the interaction between the Native Americans and the French and British.

We are on Lesson 9 in Spelling and our spelling words are : button, bottle, rabbit, soccer, tunnel, happen, timeline, measure, reasons, believe.

This week we will have a late start on Wednesday.  Also, Parent-Teacher Conferences continue Wednesday and Thursday.

The children are really growing as Leaders.  We are Beginning With The End in Mind (Habit 2) by setting and tracking our goals.
