Tuesday we have our field trip to the symphony. We will be back in time for lunch.
Pasta for Pennies Fundraiser continues to the end of the month. You can bring your pennies into school for our donation box or donate online. Thank you so much for your support of this fundraiser.
March is Reading Month continues to the end of the month. I hope you are filling out your reading minutes chart.

Our learning focus this week:

Reading- Informational reading- We are continuing to work on complete answers.
Writing- Informational writing- the children are doing much better in their writing, remembering to use good organization,paragraphs, leads, endings. We continue to improve on these skills.
Math- We need to learn our multiplication facts 0-12. We have 5 students that have completed this goal. I know everyone can do it! Continue to practice at home. The make-up tests are Fridays. We are also working with fractions.
Spelling- changing y to ied. Lesson 27 words went home Friday and are posted on the blog.
Social Studies- A study guide for our test will come home Monday and the test will be March 25.
Science-We are finishing up our unit on Earth Processes.
