March is Reading Month has begun. Our Class WIG is that everyone will read 5 “good-fit” books this month. Please check the calendar for all the activities going on for March is Reading Month. If you would like to be a guest reader this month, please let me know, so we can work out a time for you to come in a read your favorite book to the children.

Wednesday is our Second Leadership Day.
The students earned a Celebration with Mr. Potato being completed on Friday. We still need to vote on the activity.

This week:
Reading- we are learning about the elements of poetry and are writing poetry.
Writing- we are writing narratives
Spelling- the words for this wee, Lesson 23, were posted Friday.
Math- 2nd grade- working on addition /subtraction with regrouping
3rd grade- multiplication/division
Science- 2nd grade-Landforms
3rd Grade-Plants and Animals
Social Studies- 2nd grade- their test from Friday will come home today
3rd grade- we are working on public issues
