This week we will continue to study informational reading, practicing the use of text features and doing Close Reading.  We will reinforce our Close Reading Strategies by using Constructed Reading Responses using the R.A.C.E. model.

Spelling Lesson 12 test will be given Friday, December 18.  The words are listed here as well as on the Homework page of the blog and on Spelling City.  I hope you are all using spelling City.  It is a great resource.  The words are: snow, blow, throw, glow, willow, however, also, difference, angle, line

In Social Studies we will begin learning about the Government in Michigan.

Wednesday- Class Party  We will be decorating cookies.  A big thank you to all who donated!!!  The fun begins at 2:15.

Friday- PBIS/Leader in Me Monthly Reward Celebration

Our School-Wide Food Drive continues through Friday.  The goal is 1,000 cans of food.
