Week of Nov.7

There is no school for the children on November 7th and 8th. Our next late start is November 16th.

Reminder notices have been sent home for our Parent-Teacher Conferences. Please mark the date on your calendar. I look forward to meeting with you.

More and more children are learning their basic facts. Keep practicing at home. Learning these facts will help the children solve their math computations and story problems with less difficulty.

Reading every night gives your child added practice in reading. The more we practice something the better we become at it. Continue to use the Parent Pipelines to help your child practice those reading strategies. Using these strategies will help your child improve in reading. Also, take time to read to your child. They enjoy this time together and it helps with their reading too!

We our finishing up our second writing selection. In these writing we have been practicing our organization and using capitals and punctuation correctly. Currently we are doing work with Central Theme and Topic.

Also I want to thank the parents that helped to make our Halloween celebration great. The children enjoyed it!
