A few reminders for the coming week and beyond:
- Tuesday 11/6 – No School
- Thursday 11/8 – Parent/Teacher Conferences – Reminder notes of when you signed up for will come home Monday. Please return the bottom of the page to let me know if you will be able to make it or need to reschedule.
- A heads up that we have a S.T.E.M. field trip planned at the Lincoln Park Skating Center for Thursday, November 29th and we will be needing parent drivers. More information coming home soon!
Turkey Project – We read “Turkey Trouble” in school today and now the students have to help turkey dress up so he’s not eaten for Thanksgiving dinner! Click here for a copy of the directions if you need them. We also brainstormed a list of things Turkey could disguise himself as. Click here for that list. Also, here are some pictures of what students in previous years have come up with. Let the kids have fun and be creative! The disguised turkeys are due Monday, November 12.
Thank you to everyone for your donations to the Halloween party and thank you to all of the parents who were able to come and help! A special thank you to Mrs. Hider and Mrs. Moustafa for planning the party as our homeroom moms. The kids and I had a blast!
