We’re off to a hot start this second week of school!

• Please send in a water bottle with your child if possible. It is toasty in our classroom! Hopefully the temperatures will cool off soon, but in the meantime, it will help with the head and tummy aches students have been having.
• Spelling Words – Our first set of spelling words came home this today. We began all three activities and students must finish each activity for all 12 words in their yellow spelling notebook. Homework is due on Monday & we will take the test Monday. If you or your child wants to see a completed example of the spelling activities, check the spelling page on the blog.

• Here are a few pictures from our afternoon indoor recess. We were trying to beat the heat and got to explore with some fun materials we’ll begin using for S.T.E.M. activities.
