Mrs. Pelaccio’s Classroom Rules and Behavior Plan
Classroom Rules:
- Be Respectful: Don’t talk while the teacher/speaker is talking, don’t interrupt, Listen carefully, raise your hand, take care of your belongings and classroom
- Treat others how you want to be treated: be polite, take turns, use manners
- Keep your hands/feet to yourself, be aware of personal space
- Be fair and include everyone
Behavior:
We will be using a clip/color system to monitor behavior in the classroom. All students will begin the day on green: “Ready to Learn”. They will get one warning to make better choices. After a warning the student will be asked to clip down to yellow, “Think About it”. If the student turns the behavior around he/she may have the opportunity to clip back up to green. If the bad choices continue then the student will be asked to clip down to pink, “Teacher’s Choice” (consequence). In the event that the behavior does not get better then the student will have to clip down to red, “Parent Contact”.
