Home Links

Dear Parents,

We had a busy week last week!  We’ve been studying so many different things in reading, writing, math, spelling, social studies and science!  Thanks for keeping up with all of the homework and behavior calendar!  Students have been doing a great job with their reading calendars and math homework.  Also, thanks for returning school books when students are done reading!

The other reason I’m writing is regarding Math homework.  Beginning Wednesday, students will bring home a username and password to log on to everydaymath.com.  You can then download the Home Link off of your child’s page.

Basically, once your child types in their username and password there will be a key they can click on.  Once they click on the key there will be a unit number and lesson number they can click on.  You can then print the home link, have your child complete the homework, and return it the next day.  Please let me know if you have a hard time with it.  Usernames and passwords will come home Wednesday.

Field Trip to the Dearborn Fire House:  We will be going on a field trip on Monday, October 28th from 12:30-2:30.  A permission slip will be coming home soon.

Have a great week!

Sincerely,

Gina Parana

Math test today – No Home Link !

Hi Families,

We had a Math test today so we won’t have a Home Link.

We did have a Science paper to do.  If students finished it they did not have to take it home.

Please return the Science book tomorrow if your child brought it home.

They should also complete their reading homework and record it on the log.

Sincerely,

Gina Parana

Behavior Chart, Pictures, and Late Start!

Good morning! Just a couple of reminders: today is picture day!

We will also start sending home a Nowlin Bandit Behavior Chart. This chart will allow you to see how your child’s behavior was for that day. Please sign each day and return to school the next day. Thank you!

Also, Wednesday is a Late Start day.

Have a great week!

Sincerely,
Gina Parana

A Math Chapter Review will also come home tonight. Please review all facts for tomorrow’s test.

Sincerely,
Gina Parana

The Parana Post for September 27, 2013

Students in Room 34 have been working very hard.  It’s been a great week!

We have an upcoming test on Tuesday, October 2nd.  A study guide will come home on Monday.  Our test will then be on Tuesday.

Volunteers:  Thank you to all of the parents that have helped in the classroom!  We really appreciate it!  Before you volunteer however, a background check needs to be filled out in the office.  Thank you so much for your cooperation!  Once the background check is filled out it is good for 3 years.  I know I have Mrs.  Rodriguez and Mrs.  Cayton on Monday.  Please be sure and get the form filled out so you can volunteer!  Thank you so much!

Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Mrs.  Parana
