This week we have been working on Lesson 17 which is focused on Equivalent Expressions. I handed back quizzes and spent one class period going over a new retake procedure that students will follow for the rest of the year. Students that have quizzes to retake should have scheduled with me a time to complete the retake. I have given my lunchtime and some after school availability as options to the students.
Here is what this week has looked like:
- Monday: homework- pg 183-184 (in packet)
- Tuesday: Blocks 1 and 2 no homework- (retake day), Block 3 homework- pg 185-186
- Wednesday: Blocks 1 and 2 homework-pg. 185-186, Block 3 no homework- (retake day)
- Thursday: homework- pg 187-190 (we covered two sections and they had time to complete in class)
- Friday: homework- pg 191-192 (finish packet) and study guide.
Next week at a glance:
- Monday: Lesson 17 Review/Quiz
- Tuesday: NWEA
- Wednesday: NWEA
- Thursday: Begin Lesson 18
Students can always spend any extra time available on Khan Academy or on IXL to sharpen their math skills (especially with the NWEA coming up). I will be putting in grades this weekend or early next week. All students will have a progress report sent home to be signed.
