Happy week before winter break! This week we finished up the Lesson 8 Quiz. We did a couple of in-class activities on Tuesday and Wednesday. The students really seemed to enjoy these activities. We had a recipe project and also completed an Escape Room! I was very excited that every student was able to escape! Tomorrow, we will be taking a quiz on adding and subtracting mixed fractions. Friday will give students an opportunity to work on any late work or redo any quizzes from this quarter. After Friday, this will no longer be an option.

Other news:

I sent home progress reports on Friday for any students that had less than 80% in my class. These were supposed to be signed and returned to me this week. I still have yet to collect these from quite a few people. My grades are completely up to date as of today (including this weeks work where some students earned extra credit). I am asking that you take the time to do a grade check and have your student get any necessary missing work from me tomorrow!
