Sorry for the delay in my weekly post! Last week we completed our setup for our Interactive Student Notebooks along with some goal setting using our most recent NWEA scores. We also started really getting into content and learning how our lessons will be setup. Students had their first content related homework assignment which was due on Thursday (9/13).
This week we will continue our practice lessons to prepare us to start lesson 1 with our new textbooks on Thursday. If you have not returned the note about replacing our textbooks, please get them in as soon as possible. They were sent home with students on Monday the 17th (I will attach an extra copy to this blog post).
A few assignments were given today to have completed by September 28th. They were definitions for the list of vocabulary words in this unit and the 4 assessments posted on the iLearn site.
Other than that, please be sure that students complete 30 minutes of Khan Academy each week. I will be checking and updating grades each Sunday.
