Welcome back! I hope everyone enjoyed winter break! I sure did. This week we are back to business working on our 9th lesson which is all about adding and subtracting with decimals. Students are performing really well and I am expecting great things from our quiz coming up next week. The lesson will conclude Friday, we will review Monday, and take the quiz Monday (after review, time permitting) or Tuesday next week. This will be the final quiz before the end of the next card marking.

Other than the quiz, grades that will be collected are from Ready notes (instruction book used in class), Lesson 9 homework packet (to be completed by Friday), bellwork (this week only), and students Interactive Student Notebooks (ISN). Please have your student look over these items to ensure they are diligent in their note-taking and have no missed ISN entries. The ISN score will be a summative grade.

• Lesson 9 Quiz (Monday or Tuesday)
• NWEA Test. (Will start the day following the quiz.)
