Last week we finished up our third lesson of Unit 1 with a quiz and took the mid unit assessment as well. We will be starting Lesson 4 this week. It focuses on solving more problems where you find the unit rate. On Friday, I sent home progress reports for students that were getting a 75% or less in the class (before the mid-unit assessment). Students are expected to return these with a parent signature tomorrow. Grades have all been updated so please do a grade check on your student.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• If you have not signed up to be in my remind class, I suggest you do so! I send home frequent homework reminders and also reminders to get in their minutes for Khan Academy each week.
• Students should be getting 30 minutes each week of time on their Khan Academy accounts. To be able to see the time they logged, they MUST login with Clever on the Dearborn student resources page.
• If your student forgets the homework assignment or loses their copy of the pages, I always post them in the Google Classroom app that the students have access to. They can print the pages at home so they don’t fall behind.
