States of Matter

-Students will describe matter in terms of the motion of molecules.

-Students will explain the properties of a gas.

-Students will explain pressure of a gas and be able to calculate the partial pressure of a gas in a mixture.

-Students will describe the intermolecular forces that exist between different types of molecules and how these forces affect the properties of matter.

*Thursday, 4/28, students will be in the laboratory performing the Evaporation Activity.
