Friday Test Chapter 3 Macromolecules
We have started learning biochemistry, ch. 3. Students are learning about carbon structure and bonding. Leading into the macro molecules: carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and DNA.
We are currently studying relationships of organisms, Ch. 20
Friday and the beginning of next week we will move on to populations. (Ch19) Looking at the characteristics of different types of graphs, limiting factors and human population.
Looking at the effects of humans on ecosystems and populations
We will test next Friday.
We are now ending our Ecology relationships and energy flow section – Ch. 18
We will continue to discuss relationships between biotic and abiotic factors on Thursday and hand out the test review
On Friday we will review
On Monday the review sheet will be due and the test will be taken.
On Tuesday I will check the vocabulary foldable
Retakes for Scientific Method Test next week: 10/7/13: those who signed up were given review work to complete before the test can be retaken.
Students should have all the vocabulary done for section 18-1 and 18-2
We studied in class the organisms involved in the spreed of Lyme Disease:
Short essay on how they interact – summative assessment in class
Beginning section 18-3 on Monday 10/6/13
Students will do presentations on Monday and questions on Tuesday for 18-3
Notes and food web / energy worksheets will be given out Wednesday – Friday
Monday: September 23,
The students will receive their review for the test on Wednesday

We as a class will review Scientific method: steps, variables, graphing, vocabulary
