Biology

Monday – Wednesday:

Students are using the simulation of Thirsty Birds to develop an awareness of how competition, resources and pollution can affect a population’s evolution

  • collect data
  • Analyze data
  • graph data and explain the results

Thursday – Friday

Students will complete an evolution station lab and apply methods of evolution

  • reading for comprehension
  • evaluating resources and methods

AP Biology

Students will be beginning biochemistry carbon and macromolecules

Monday – Friday

glucose models are used to develop dehydration synthesis and hydrolysis – monomer and polymer

students will develop an understanding of functional groups and their role in macromolecules

students will be able to identify macro molecule’s structure and function

Foldable of each macromolecule
