Vestigial structures – students will choose a vestigial structure, describe the structure, and explain what its use was believed to be and how it is used in other close relatives. Format will be provided in class.
Thursday
Group share of vestigial structures w/ discussion
DNA as it is used for evidence of evolution
Complete molecular biology activity, complete the questions share out on white boards
Friday
Patterns of evolution; review the concepts and apply them to real life situations
