High School Options for our 8TH Graders

Did you know that Dearborn offers several options for 8th graders and their families to consider besides the traditional high school experience.  Read below and find our more:

  • Henry Ford Early College – Henry Ford Early College is a unique five year early college program that gives students the opportunity to attain both a high school diploma and a two-year healthcare-related Associate Degree in five years at no cost to the student or parent.
  • Michael Berry Career Center – Students at MBCC can choose from Career and Technical Education Programs in Design Technology (Drafting, Software or Design Concepts), Medical/Health (Allied Health, Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting and Sports Med/Rehab) or Restaurant Hospitality. Students attend their home high school as well as MBCC.
  • Collegiate Academy – The Collegiate Academy is a partnership with Henry Ford Community College to offer students the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and a two-year Associate Arts or Science Degree in five years at no cost to parents or students.
