Coffee with the Counselor, Thursday March 15th at 8:20

What it’s all about

As we all know, parent communication is key to the success of all students.  The voice of the parents at Salina Intermediate, over the years, has shown an importance of having more than one or two ways to stay connected to the school.  Coffee with the Counselor was developed so that we have another opportunity to sit together, as a school and community to discuss any concerns or topics you may have.

This year it will happen once, but all the years to follow, Coffee with the Counselor will take place sometime in the beginning of the year and the second one will be during the second semester.    These meetings will last about an hour. Again, this is another opportunity to come together and make conversations and we welcome all our families.

We hope to see all our families at the 1st Coffee with the Counselor, this Thursday March 15, at 8:20 in the conference room.  we encourage you to write down any questions you may have to ask at the meeting.  Below you will find some wonderful topics we will be able to discuss at this meeting.

  • Relationship building
  • Learning about child grades/concerns
  • Questions and answer time
  • Finding out important dates in the school and or district
  • Report Cards
  • Conferences
  • State and Local testing
  • Parent and Student Connect
  • Student Schedules
  • Special Guests

See you all on Thursday.
