Language Arts for the week of April 13,2020

This week students will be introduced to the novel Night of the 

Spadefoot Toads. Chapter 1 will be focused on how readers 

can compare and contrast two or more characters, settings, or 

events in a story. Chapters 2 and 3 will focus on deterring the meaning of words and phrases.

•  Monday:Students will read Chapter 1 as a whole group via Google Hangout. Students will work independently on a set of questions.
• Tuesday: Students will read Chapters 2 and 3. They will write a summary about both Chapters 2 and 3. 
• WednesdayStudents will receive questions about Chapter 2 and 3
• Thursday:Students will discuss Chapters 1,2,3 with the teacher via Google Hangout. 
• Friday: Students will Read a book that has a Science Contents. They will answer a set of related questions about it.
