Good morning everyone!

First of all, happy Earth Day! If you do any of the Earth Day activities from our calendar, be sure to send me a photo! Don’t forget to keep working on your business projects, too. 🙂 If you missed our meeting yesterday, I am going to upload a recording of the directions I gave to Google Classroom.

Wow, I have to say that looking over your ReadWorks assignment from Monday, I was so impressed. I don’t think I have seen so many 100%s on ReadWorks in a long time. Maybe ever! Great job everyone 🙂 Remember to keep using complete sentences that start with a capital and end with a period, as well as using text evidence.

I hope you are all still reading good books! Remember, EPIC is a free site with lots of books for you to read! If you need the class code or want to try it out, let me know.

During our Google Meet sessions, I am going to continue doing some math problems each time, as well as sometimes going over some of your ReadWorks articles. It’s really important that you try to attend these meetings every Tuesday (girls at 12 and boys at 1). It is just like school where we want to see your attendance, and your participation counts toward your grade! There may be additional Google Meets throughout the week, but you MUST attend each Tuesday.

Don’t forget — your special area teachers are having a meeting with you today if you would like to attend! I already posted this info here and in the Online Learning page on my blog, but I am going to share it once more just in case:

A message from your Specials Teachers: We would like to invite you to the Specials’ Google Meet! This is a fun opportunity to connect, share and ask questions of your Specials Teachers! Our meet for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will be on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. The nickname for the meet will be specials2420 and will stay the same for our meeting each week. We hope to see you there 🙂
