Hi everyone! I hope you had a restful spring break with your families, and a happy Easter to those who celebrate!
I am attaching the new calendar for the week here as a PDF, and as a picture. I will also have it on the main page of my blog if you look on the left hand side. I do want to remind everyone that now that we are officially learning from home for the rest of the school year, it is very important that you are keeping up with your school work and joining our Google Hangouts. Our first chat this week will be Tuesday, April 14 at 1 PM. The link will be posted here shortly before 1, and I will also send you an email invitation.
We will also be presenting our PBL animal projects from home this week! On Thursday, April 16, boys will join our Google Hangout at 12 PM, and girls will join at 2 PM to chat and share your projects. You will be expected to present your piece of art and tell us about your animal’s 3 features. I chose to split the class in half so we can chat a bit more, and that way you will not have to sit through all of the presentations on your computer for so long. 🙂
One change to our weekly calendar this week is that we are no longer asking you to complete the Learn book pages- please just complete the Zearn lessons, as well as the pages in your Succeed book using your homework helper. As we get more directions from the district and the state, this is subject to change, as well.
I will be reaching out to several families and students over the next couple days to remind you about keeping up on Zearn/ReadWorks/Flocabulary, as some of you are a little behind! Remember- school may look different now, but we are still working as a class. I am proud of all of you for showing integrity- keep up the great work!
