Hello Econ students!
For the next 2 weeks you will be learning about PERSONAL FINANCE. Please know these assignments were chosen because they are situations you will very likely have to deal with as adults and understanding this information will undoubtedly help you be more successful financially.
Please make sure you follow all directions carefully before emailing with questions. ALTHOUGH THE ATTACHED HANDOUTS ARE NOT REQUIRED (DUE), THEY WILL HELP YOU EARN A PASSING GRADE ON YOUR QUIZZES. I suggest printing the handouts and filling in the answers as you go. If you do not have the ability to print but want to fill out the worksheets for help on the quiz, there is a link for each worksheet on the website. If you click on the handout link, you can fill them in as you go.
DUE DATES:
May 3, 2020:
Unit 1 (Earning Income) Lesson 1 and 2 quizzes.
Unit 2 (Managing Your Money) Lesson 1 (Reading a Pay Stub) and 2 (Introduction to Banking) quizzes.
May 10, 2020:
Unit 2 (Managing Your Money) Lesson 3 (Budgeting) and 4 (Informed Purchases) quizzes.
Unit 3 (Using Credit) Lesson 1 and 2 quizzes.
*You must earn a 75% on each quiz to receive credit. You can take each quiz up to 2 times. (There’s a 10 minute wait period in between)

Click on: Create New Student Account at the bottom of the screen.

Enter the information it is asking for. Use your school email address.
Watch the “Getting Started” Video.
Work through all 3 Units and successfully complete each quiz by its due date. You must earn AT LEAST a 75% on each quiz to receive credit for this assignment.
If you finish the first set of quizzes early, you can move on to the second set of quizzes.
You do NOT have to complete the unit tests.
If you do not have access to the internet to complete these videos, it is your responsibility to let me know by Thursday, April 30.
