Hello Parents, here are our lesson activities for today! Happy Thursday!
Please make sure you send pictures of your child doing the activities from this week if you have not yet, tomorrow is the last day to send them before I take attendance.

Can you identify all of the letters below? We have covered all of them! The next few weeks we will have a review letter each day.

*If your child isn’t recognizing some of these letters above, this is a great time to refresh!
Exercise
Ms. Stafiej and Crunch are playing catch in our yard. You can play catch too, or take a walk around the block!
Academic Activities
Math Activity
Using blocks, legos, and even empty boxes make towers!
Compare the height of the towers…which is taller? Which is shorter?
Use a ruler to find the difference between the towers.

Literacy Activity
Letter BINGO!
*Level 1 – Use Capital letters on your BINGO board

**Level 2 – Use lowercase letters on your BINGO board

***Level 3 – Use sight words on your BINGO board

Creative Time
- Make a chalk rainbow!
- Can you find items from outside that match each color of the rainbow?

Lunch Time
Remember to eat your fruits and vegetables <3 Ms. Stafiej is having a turkey sandwich with an apple.
Chore Time
Clean your spot after lunch, help to wash the dishes, clean up your toys and your room.
Quiet Time
Children have time to relax and “charge” their bodies. If your child doesn’t normally nap at home, they can read stories or do a quiet activity of your choice (no screens please!)
Work Time
5 to 10 minutes | Plan for Work Time: Build your child’s ability to organize their time by having them make a “plan” with you about what they would like to play with. Children do this everyday with us at school. It helps children learn to organize their thoughts. Adults make plans all the time to organize their thoughts (shopping lists are made before going to the grocery store, to do lists are made to help plan your day etc..). Kids will tell you what they are planning to do/want to play with/how they will use toys at home. التخطيط لوقت العمل ( وقت اللعب): ساعد طفلك على بناء مهارة تنظيم الوقت بوضع خطة معهم عن لعبهم. هذا ما كان يفعله كل الطلاب كل يوم في المدرسة. هذا يساعد الأولاد على تنظيم أفكارهم. الأهل أيضا يضعون خطط دائما لتنظيم أفكارهم مثل قائمة التسوق قبل الذهاب إلى المتجر, كتابة القوائم تساعد على تنظيم اليوم….. الأولاد سوف يخبروكم ما هي خطتهم/ ماذا سيلعبون/ مع من سيلعبون/ ماذا سيستخدمون من أدوات في لعبهم |
1 hour | Work Time: Kids play WITHOUT ELECTRONICS. Kids can use toys to pretend play, build, and create. وقت العمل : يجب أن لا يستعمل الأولاد الإلكترونيات . يستطيع الأولاد استخدام الألعاب التي تساعدهم في التخيل و البناء و الإبداع |
15 minutes | Clean Up Time: Kids clean up the mess they have made while playing. وقت التنظيف: ينظف الأولاد الفوضى التي نتجت عن لعبهم. |
5 to 10 minutes | Recall Time: Build your child’s memory of events by having your child tell you what they did while they played (ask “tell me how you did that” or “what did you do next?”) وقت التذكر: بناء ذاكرة الأولاد و مراجعة الأحداث عن طريق جعل طفلك يعيد سرد ما قام به خلال وقت اللعب( اسال طفلك: اخبرني كيف قمت بذلك؟ أو ماذا فعلت بعد ذلك؟) |

Gymnastics Lesson 3
This lesson has a wonderful math movement song (Moving Numbers) and practicing forward rolls and donkey kicks. Please make sure your child is supervised during this activity!
