Good Morning Parents and Students, Mrs. Abdellah and I miss you all so much.

Literacy Activity
Level One – Matching the letters in your name.

Parents, model writing your child’s name.
Have them match with corresponding paper or post it notes.
Too easy? Take the next challenge!
*Level Two – Build Your Name by Yourself more than once

Have your child write the letters in their name each on an individual small piece of paper
Mix them up and have your child put them back in order.

*Level Three – Name Puzzle
Parents write their name a few different times, leaving spots where there are missing letters.
Mix it up!
Have your child find where the missing letters go.
Lunch Time
Remember to eat your fruits and vegetables <3 Ms. Stafiej is having tuna with vegetables!
Chore Time
Clean your spot after lunch, help to wash the dishes, clean up your toys and your room.
Quiet Time
Children have time to relax and “charge” their bodies. If your child doesn’t normally nap at home, they can read stories or do a quiet activity of your choice (no screens please!)
Work Time
5 to 10 minutes | Plan for Work Time: Build your child’s ability to organize their time by having them make a “plan” with you about what they would like to play with. Children do this everyday with us at school. It helps children learn to organize their thoughts. Adults make plans all the time to organize their thoughts (shopping lists are made before going to the grocery store, to do lists are made to help plan your day etc..). Kids will tell you what they are planning to do/want to play with/how they will use toys at home. التخطيط لوقت العمل ( وقت اللعب): ساعد طفلك على بناء مهارة تنظيم الوقت بوضع خطة معهم عن لعبهم. هذا ما كان يفعله كل الطلاب كل يوم في المدرسة. هذا يساعد الأولاد على تنظيم أفكارهم. الأهل أيضا يضعون خطط دائما لتنظيم أفكارهم مثل قائمة التسوق قبل الذهاب إلى المتجر, كتابة القوائم تساعد على تنظيم اليوم….. الأولاد سوف يخبروكم ما هي خطتهم/ ماذا سيلعبون/ مع من سيلعبون/ ماذا سيستخدمون من أدوات في لعبهم |

Have the children collect a few books they would like to hear. Parents read to your child!
