Hello Parents, I apologize for the late post, Ms. Stafiej had a staff meeting this morning and wanted to find out information before I sent anything out today. I hope you all had a great spring break.
Here are today’s activities… the focus today is literacy and writing. I am trying to create activities with materials you might have at home. If you do not have the materials please message me!!
Feel free to send any pictures from todays activities which will be shared on Friday’s post!
Reminder of Suggested Schedule
While our children are at home, the most important thing we can do is to keep them in a routine. This helps comfort the child as well as provides some peace for you <3

Good Morning!
Good Morning Parents and Students, Mrs. Abdellah and I miss you all so much. Remember our letter of the week last week? Ii!
This week our letter is Tt, what sound does the letter Tt make?
Can you make the letter T in the air? Big Line down, Line across at the top.
Exercise
Today is pretty windy, maybe stay inside and play “Floor is Lava”. Don’t let your feet touch the ground, use pillows and cushions as stepping stones across the room 🙂
Academic Activity
The academic activity for today is finding the letters in your name. Cut or tear out the letters in your name from newspapers or grocery ads.
11 am – Creative Time
No peeking! What is inside the box? Parents find a few different items from around the house to place in a bag or box. Have your children close their eyes and feel inside the bag/box. Have them guess what is inside.
12 pm – Lunch Time
Remember to eat your fruits and vegetables <3 Ms. Stafiej is having homemade chicken shawarma with vegetables!
12:30 pm – Chore Time
Clean your spot after lunch, help to wash the dishes, clean up your toys and your room.
1 pm – Quiet Time
Children have time to relax and “charge” their bodies. If your child doesn’t normally nap at home, they can read stories or do a quiet activity of your choice (no screens please!)
2:30 pm – Academic Time
How Many Letters Can You Identify?
Daily 5 – Listen to Reading
Find four story books, read them to your stuffed animal. What do you notice in the pictures? Can you find the letter Tt while reading?
