Learning Activities for Tuesday March 24th!

Thank you for all of the lovely pictures I received yesterday!

Here are the activities for today, feel free to contact me if you need alternative options or suggestions. The main idea is number recognition and writing, this is an area in which we are currently growing. These are also great activity ideas for all of your children at home.

Please make sure you are sending me pictures of your child completing the activities for our Friday blog post!

8 am – Good Morning!

Good Morning Parents and Students, today is… Tuesday!

Remember our letter of the week this week? Did you find anything in your house that starts with the letter W?

Water, Washer, Watermelon, Window, Whistle

Can you make the letter W with your hands?

9 am – Balloon Activities

The last activity is a great indoor exercise game with your children. “Can you keep the balloon from touching the ground?” If you don’t have paper plates and popsicle sticks, thats okay! Ms. Stafiej played this game with her family just using our hands to hit the balloon 🙂

10 am – Academic Activity

Our Activity for today will be writing (or tracing if your child needs it) and identifying numbers. Ms. Stafiej will message you the numbers your child should focus on based on your child’s current goal. For example, Recognizing 1 through 5, Recognizing 6 through 10, Writing numbers 1 through 15, etc! Please check your Remind messages to see which activity Ms. Stafiej sent.

This is also a great game if you are out of paint or crayons. It allows you to tailor the game to your child’s ability. First pick the range of numbers (1 to 10, 1 to 20, 10 to 30, 1 to 100, etc) then I would select the smaller board size.

11 am – Creative Time

Can you draw a picture of something you can’t wait to do when we go back to school?

12 pm – Lunch Time

Remember to eat your fruits and vegetables <3

Ms. Stafiej is having strawberries with Nutella and celery.

12:30 pm – Chore Time

Clean your spot after lunch, help to wash the dishes, clean up your toys and help with laundry.

1 pm – Quiet Time

Children have time to relax and “charge” their bodies. If your child doesn’t normally nap at home, they can read stories or do a quiet activity of your choice (no screens please!)

2:30 pm – Academic Time

Daily 5 – Read to Self

Find your four books from school, read your books to yourself or to your sibling.

Counting 1 to 20

Stretch of the Day

Can you stretch your body like this?
