I am going to be sending you these activities the night before in order to help parents prepare and contact me if you need alternative options or suggestions. I am so happy to help! These are also great activity ideas for all of your learners at home.
Please make sure you are sending me pictures of your child completing the activities (consider this your “attendance”)
Reminder of Suggested Schedule
While our children are at home, the most important thing we can do is to keep them in a routine. This helps comfort the child as well as provides some peace for you <3
This is a snap shot of what each of our days at school look like, I am so thankful for wonderful parents like you who help your child continue learning at home. Thank you for being rock stars.

8 am – Good Morning!
Good Morning Parents and Students, Mrs. Abdellah and I miss you all so much. Remember our letter of the week last week? Ll!
This week our letter is Cc, what things start with the letter C? Can you make the letter C in the air? Start at the top, big curve around.

9 am – Outside Time
The weather is supposed to be beautiful today, so enjoy a family walk around the block or playing in the backyard for some fresh air.
10 am – Academic Activity
Our Activity is to do a letter hunt around your house. Send me pictures of your child and the letters they find.
Options:
-You can write letters and hide them around the house for your child to find
-Let your child find letters that are already around your house

11 am – Creative Time
Draw a picture of your favorite book. Don’t forget to draw your line, write your name, and add the date!
12 pm – Lunch Time
Remember to eat your fruits and vegetables <3 Ms. Stafiej is having cucumbers and hummus with her chicken.
12:30 pm – Chore Time
Clean your spot after lunch, help to wash the dishes, clean up your toys and your room.
1 pm – Quiet Time
Children have time to relax and “charge” their bodies. If your child doesn’t normally nap at home, they can read stories or do a quiet activity of your choice (no screens please!)
2:30 pm – Academic Time
Daily 5 – Read to Self
Take out your Daily 5 bags and read the four books that you brought home. Remember the three ways to read a book; read the pictures, read the words, retell the story from memory.

Educational Game
Monster Alphabet Match (this will let you personalize your child’s goals, if we talked about your child working on Letter ID then pick Letter Names, if we talked about Letter Sounds then pick Sounds)
