Hello Families,
I hope you all enjoyed the two snow days and stayed safe! We had a super short week this week so I only have pictures from making our healthy snack with LAHC. We made a car using apple slices, grapes, and tooth picks. The children LOVED this snack and being allow to play with their food 😉

Parent University
Parent University started TODAY! and will continue every Friday until April 3rd. This is a wonderful experience for you and your children preschool age and younger. It is only from 9 until 10, but there are great ideas for incorporating learning into play. The locations offering Parent University are Maples, River Oaks, William Ford, Long, Lindberg, and Salina. Come visit me and fellow teachers to make some exciting things! 🙂
Learning New Skills:
- Introduced letters Jj as well as the sounds for these letters.
- Identifying numbers 0 through 25
- Identifying a hexagon
- Labeling pictures when writing/knowing the letters in our family and friends names
Skills to Review at Home:
- We have worked on the following letters and their sounds Ff, Ee, Gg, Dd, Pp, Bb, Rr, Oo, Aa, Mm, Ss, Hh, Xx, Jj and Nn.
- Washing our hands for 20 seconds while singing the Alphabet song.
- Reviewing the following shapes: rhombus/diamond, circle, square, rectangle, oval, and triangle.
- Writing first name, last name, and identifying the letters in your name.
- Counting to 20
