Invisible Name Writing
“Invisible Letters” have been our newest form of name writing practice! Using q-tips and water is a fun and exciting way to practice forming the letters in our names.
Smash Math
“Smash math” is an enticing way to incorporate a whole lot of fun into math play. Students had their own dice, tens frame, ten pieces of play dough, and a hammer. When the students rolled their dice, how ever many it showed, that is how many pieces they smashed. Students talked about adding concepts to 10.
Water Bead Observations
Making Observations of the Water Beads as they grow in the water.
Tangram Puzzles using Shapes
While waking up from rest time, students began using 2D shapes to work on Tangram puzzles.
Exploring Our Floor Piano
The students explored our new floor piano! They found different ways to use the piano as well as discovered new sounds and instruments.
Field Trip to the Outdoor Adventure Center
On our way to the field trip at the DNR Outdoor Adventure Center! We each had a turn kayaking and fishing 🙂
We each took a turn riding the snowmobiles, 4 wheelers, and flying the plane!
Walking across the swinging bridge and climbing up the tree!
