We have worked on the following letters and their sounds Ff, Ee, Dd, Pp, Bb, Rr, Oo, Aa, Mm, and Nn.
Washing our hands for 20 seconds while singing the Alphabet song
Reviewing the following shapes: circle, square, and triangle
Writing first names.
Counting 10 items and being able to state how many were counted at the end.
LAHC Healthy Me Program
Our Healthy Me Program started this week on Tuesday. Students spent time with Mr. Matt and Ms. Zahraa to learn about healthy hand washing practices. The students discussed germs and learned to sing the Alphabet song while washing their hands to make sure it is for the correct length of time. We also discussed healthy choices when it came to food. We talked about Healthy foods that are good for our bodies and Not Healthy foods that are “sometimes foods” we can eat occasionally.

Name Writing Activities
Our name writing activities this week included: watercolor painting our names, building our names with wikki stix (located in the classroom), and rainbow writing our names (located in the hallway).
